Subacute thyroiditis is a granulomatous acute inflammation characterized by thyroid pain and goiter that may be associated with fever and elevated erythrocyte sedimentation rate. Most of the time it is preceded by a self-limited viral infection. However, subacute thyroiditis following influenza vaccination has rarely been reported. We report a case following the administration of an influenza vaccine.

Palabras clave: Subacute thyroiditis. Influenza vaccine. Erythrocyte sedimentation rate.
