Revista Mexicana de Endocrinología, Metabolismo y Nutrición is the official publication of Sociedad Mexicana de Nutrición y Endocrinología, A.C., a non-governmental organization that groups health professionals interested in the fields of nutrition, metabolism and endocrinology.
Revista Mexicana de Endocrinología, Metabolismo y Nutrición publishes quarterly in an online format format (it no longer publishes printed editions).
It aims to publish original content in the broad field of endocrinology, metabolism and nutrition, as well as to provide current and relevant information for national health. It is an open access and peer reviewed journal that publishes original articles, review articles and clinical cases in English.
The journal was published in both print and electronic formats until 2020. The print edition (ISSN 2339-9643) ceased publication in 2020. Since then, the journal has continued publication exclusively in electronic format (eISSN 2462-4144).
The print ISSN is retained on the journal’s website for historical and bibliographic identification purposes.
